Hows come when you abuse an animal it is taken away and no way can you get it back. But if you abuse a child you can get it back. Some one tell me what is wrong with this.

I know that parents deserve to show themselves as innocent. I am talking about the ones that really abuse their kids. It seems the justice system is all screwed up.

That is a question hard to answer,I'm glad that animals are taken away from bad owners.Children should also be protected.Sometimes parents go through parenting classes and claim things will be different.And some children have been successfully brought back home with no further problems.Unfortunately that isn't the case most of the time.And it takes a death of a child to make authorities see the truth.I just don't understand how anyone can hurt or kill a child.It breaks my heart to even think about it.

Everything is wrong with it! I guess authoritties want to give parents the opportunity to better themselves and see what they have done wrong. They do go through extensive home visits and require parents to take parenting classes or anger management classes and if there is no improvement, they won't let the child/children go back to the parents. With animals...I work for a vet...in order for the authorities to take a pet away, the abuse has to be pretty severe, such as starving or leaving the pet on a chain with an embedded collar, no shelter etc. Also, if they take the pet away and can't find it a good home, alot of places will euthanize...and you can't do that with children, therefore if they took all of the kids away from all of the abusers, housing the children would be a huge problem. Sexually abused children do not go back to the abuser (my grandma was a foster parent so I know a lot about the subject).

Our laws here are redicules ! Someone is imprisoned for 5 years for a small amount of pot and a sexual pervert gets out in a few months . Seems like our government does not care about the poor , the elderly , the children or minorities . I have totally given up on voting , I think its rigged anyways so the only thing left is to pray . It says in the Bible , "wrong will become right , and right will become wrong ". That's what is happening to this world , right in front of our eyes .

I agreeI think it shows there are real problems in this country. Peadophiles on get a few years and are let back on the street to re-commit, child abusers can fight for their child back, what the hecks going on?
