Alpha Male (below) This stance is quite clear. I never thought the invasion of Iraq would be good for this country. I never forget the stances of people/politicians regarless of the historical rewrites they spew on TV. Anyone who supported this blunder should not be forgotten, nor forgiven.
As for approval of this statement, this "alpha male" doesn't seek approval...

This question is about Hilary's support AFTER the vote for three and a half years.

In reading these responses, it's difficult to disseminate truth from fiction. In looking at history, past speeches, she and many other politicians believed exactly what Bush was led to believe and yes, she did.
Voting records are easy to look up also. :)
Chi, yes. She was a supporter until she decided to run. She voiced it verbally, many times.

Every Senator except Russ Feingold of Wisconsin voted for the war.
I am a Democrat, but even I will admit that Hillary does pander to both sides a bit. She's still far better than everyone on the Republican side, though.

I read the explanation that Hillary gave for her vote, immediately after making it. She never voted for war, but rather for giving the president a "big stick" to leverage Iraq into readmitting international inspectors. No one who voted for it thought he would actually use that authorization to go to war. He had disseminated the false intelligence about wmd, and he had privately promised congress that the authorization was for purposes of threat only. Many were deceived by those assurances, but that doesn't mean they were "voting for the war".

John Edwards exposed her and Obama for STILL supporting the war and trying to campaign on ending the war. Even trying to sneak down at the very last minute to cast their yes vote to funding the troops.

More than likely all the "anti-war" politicians support the war but won't say it publicly. That's why you will NEVER see a troop withdrawal and an increase on troops to Iraq. They know the war against islamofacism is real. They will put on a good front for bills that will get vetoed to satisfy left-wing base though.

She did support the war until the polls showed that it wasn't popular anymore. Then she made up the excuse that Bush misled her. Considering her Husband was President she should have had the most knowledge about the situation out of anyone in Congress.

To be quite honest Chi, I am confused as to which position you're taking. It is true that Hillary supported the war, voted for it and no acts as if she never did.
However, asking me to approve your statement and then taking the opposite stance forces me into refering to you in a negative light. Something I don't wish to do.

consider what she was involved in with her husband knowingly...
- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
then ask yourself...does that suprise you about the war...not me.
