A belly button is the port where your feeding/breathing tube was attatched before you got here.
Your body pores excrete substances. Your ear excretes a sticky liquid from the cerumen glands which are found only in the skin of the ear canals. Traps whatever is not supposed to be in there. Hasn't trapped my elbow yet.

The belly button is a reminder that we all have mothers and that we all were intimately connected for about 9 months to that mother. The only problem I see with a belly button is why some are outties.
Ear wax is an accumulation of soap and shampoo. Some people seem to be able to collect it better than others. Maybe they take too many showers or baths. Or perhaps it is their particular ear anatomy. However, there is a remedy. Just gently use a cotton swap after a shower in each ear.
Whatever, these things are part of being human.

It sounds like you have ear wax blocking your brain from common knowledge, belly buttons are from when you was attached to the umbilical cord whilst you was developing in you mothers womb. Ear wax is a natural way of keeping the ear clean from foreign bodies entering your skull.

Belly buttons are forever reminders of how we got here and who we were connected to. As for ear wax, it protects the inner ear so we can hear for a long time.

The navel, also called a belly button, or umbilicus, is a scar on the abdomen, caused when the umbilical cord is removed from a newborn baby.
Earwax, also known by the medical term cerumen, is a yellowish, waxy substance secreted in the ear canal of humans and many other mammals. It plays an important role in the human ear canal, assisting in cleaning and lubrication, and also provides some protection from bacteria, fungi, and insects. Cerumen is produced in the outer third of the cartilaginous portion of the human ear canal. It is a mixture of viscous secretions from sebaceous glands and less-viscous ones from modified apocrine sweat glands.[1] The primary components of earwax are the final products in the HMG-CoA reductase pathway, namely, squalene, lanosterol, and cholesterol

Belly buttons are leftovers from our umbilical cords. Ear wax prevents lots of junk from getting too far inside our ears.

Actually, the reason we have a belly button is because when we were created, we were made out of dough. God put us all in a big oven and when he checked to see if we were cooked, he pressed our belly and said, "That one's done" - that's how you got your belly button! lol
Should be in jokes and riddles, lol
Sorry, no clever answer about the earwax, will have to go with what everyone else says, to trap stuff so it doesn't puddle your brain - don't think mines working!
