YUCK...Ok--strip the bed and wash all the bedding in hot water w/ detergent and 1/2 c. baking soda
For the mattress- spray with a solution of white vinegar/and water spritz liberally and blot with a towel.... Let dry If it still smells sprinkle the dry mattress with baking soda and let it sit for an hour.... and vacuum.... If it still smells make friend buy new mattress...
*Also while you are waiting for mattress to dry go to store w/ friend to buy you a mattress protector that way if it happens again all you have to do is take off the cover and wash....
Good luck

Clean the surface with a damp rag - don't let any more moisture get in the mattress than you absolutely have to. Sprinkle lots of baking soda over the stinky area, let it sit for a couple hours to neutralize the acid (whats causing the offensive odor) and vacuum it up - do this several times if need be.
What ever you do, don't use lots of soapy water - you'll just be helping it saturate deeper into the mattress.

aww poor guy.
well wash the sheets in cold water (go outside and shake off the barf, I know gross) then toss them into the washing machine. that will take care of the sheets.
as for the matress, spray 'Resolve'
http://www.ontimesupplies.com/PROFESSIONAL_RESOLVE_Spot_and_Stain_Carpet_Cleaner_32_oz_Trigger_Spray_item_RAC97402EA.html
onto the area where the puke was.
it will eliminate the smell and remove bacteria and stains.
it works really great, and you can buy it at like target, safeway, etc.
resolve also is great because it won't just sit there and saturate the matress like some sprays do, it actually "pulls" the nasty stuff out of the bedding and kills the bacteria and smell, as well as the stain, so there's no chance of mildew to grow.
if the room smells bad just open the window for a bit and light a few candles. febreeze only masks odors and I've found that when you spray it, it will mix with the smell of barf and not kill the actual bacteria causing the smell.
good luck.

Bleach if you can (color-wise) for the sheets. Then scrub the mattress with cold water and possibly resolve. Then spray with febreeze and let it dry out COMPLETELY. For the sheets, I would suggest having your friend buy you a new set. The smell stays in quite a while.

A little detergent and water with a little some baking soda added in. Use a soft scrub brush. Febreeze afterwards just for the smell of it.

Wash it at least two times and put downy on it while rinsing it. It would be back to normal in no time.
