I've been asked to go for a photo shoot for catologue work from a casting management company but they want £135.00 to pay for there work so that they can try to get me work. then the money for the photos will be taken out of any money I get if they find me work is this correct or is it a scam?

Don't do it! You shouldn't have to pay for modelling work, you should be paid. The only way you should have to pay is for photos for a portfolio to get you started off and this should either be sorted out by yourself or your agency. For mine, I only had to pay if I wanted a make-up artist and my agency paid for the photographer etc.
