Yes.

UFO means Unidentified Flying Object. Anything that cannot be identified in the sky is by definition a UFO.

If you mean objects from another world, then the answer is also YES.

My husband worked at a radar facility and tracked several objects that could not be explained. The objects moved faster than any plane/jet that any military unit had, and the objects could stop, reverse, accelerate, and change direction in a manner that no human vehicle could manage. His superior always told him to log these episodes as "glitches" and not speak of them.

If you see an object, and it's flying, and it's unidentified, then it's a UFO; so, yes.

If you mean, are UFOs really spaceships from other planets, my opinion is probably not. I do believe that there's intelligent life elsewhere in the Universe, the Universe being quite a large place; but by the same token, the chances of somebody coming across our little planet are very small.

Of course, it's *possible.* It's certainly fun to imagine. If there are any visiting aliens reading this, please give us a definitive answer on this subject.

well yes, but you could have a duel meening for ufo, there are many unidentified flying objects out there. but if are talking about extraterestrails well they are as real as everyone. They exist - the universe is so vast that they must exist, earth is not that unique. Have they visted the earth? well i do believe so but that point has not been compleatly proven yet. Ever since humans romed the earth they reported mythical creatures with superior powers. then they did not know that other worlds existed. they have had to be aliens....so the answer it YES

There is no other subject in the world that has so many eye-witnesses to a single phenomenon that is still considered false. Think how important this secret must be to have been kept for so long and to have so many false stories associated with it. We live in such a fantastic time with the internet and global communication. The lid cannot remained closed much longer. Enjoy the suspense....I do. When the truth comes out, it won't be fun anymore.

If you mean alien UFO, then there is no scientific evidence whatsoever.

Put it in the same catagory as fairies and ghosts. before the space age, all kinds of people reported seeing fairies and ghosts.

Now the same type of loonies see UFOs.

Some of it is mistaken identity - ordinary people are really bad at observation. However, much of it is people's wayward imaginations and secret desire for these things to be real.

My advice: forget about UFOs. learn real astronomy.

No.

SETI demonstates there is no technological civilization within 50 lightyears' radius of Earth. Transluminal propagation violates causality - and the universe does not tolerate contradiction.

After Europe discovered the New World at least 20 million indios died of smallpox, measles, and influenza. Europe returned with the Great Pox, syphilis. That must have really been something given the grief of smallpox. Nobody ever opened an outworlder door on Earth - both planets would have been biologically devastated.

Well, lets see..........................

UNIDENTIFIED......if an object in the sky is reported as unidentified and it's reported flying around, and it's an object (because, after all, it is unidentified)......

well, then, I guess they are for real, huh?

i think so, it would be hard and stupid to think that we are alone in this universe. i dont think that the majority that say they saw something were lying about it.
