Best i think would be A Time To Kill by John Grisham, best trashy novel would be Riders by Jilly Cooper which i have read twice, i have read all the books in the series, they are light hearted and just good fun to read. At the minute i'm reading Winter In Madrid by CJ Sansom which iam quite enjoying, except i have a bad habit of flicking to the end of the book to see what happens! I dont think i have a worst book as i never get past the 1st chapter if i dont like something. I also thought the Horse Whisperer was good, cant believe the ending though as i saw the film first, i was like oh my god they killed Robert Redford!!!

This is an extremely hard question to answer - there are so many well written books in different genres etc. There are books like Graham Swift's Waterland that left me bereft - the characters were so engaging I didn't want to let them go.
Unfortunately, there are an equivalent number of very bad books. I once made the mistake of buying a book authored by a comic actor that was in the recommended section of my local bookshop. Whether it was ghost written or not it was the most dreadful drivel ever put in print. I tried many times to wade through it but in the end decided my life was too short to waste any more time on it - and to save anyone else the bother I'd had with it, I threw it in the bin (something I never do usually as there are many ways of 'recycling' books). I had a similar experience with another 'actor's' effort and now know to steer clear of any title supposedly written by actors and such like people.

The best book I have ever read would probably have to be Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.

I've read some pretty bad too. The worst I would say is either The Alchemist by Paolo Cohelo or The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald

One of the best books I ever read was 'Junk' by Melvin Burgess. I liked how he tackled a subject like drug addiction in a book meant for children. I don't know about the worst...probably Catcher In The Rye. I just couldn't be bothered with it after a few pages.

I loved The Coldest Winter Ever by Sistah Souljah. And the worst... has to be a tie. Mythology is one. It's this stupid book we had to read in High School and I didn't know what they were talking about because it was written in old english! ugh! It was horrible! And Confessions of a Video Vixen is tied for worst! It was just about how much she like to give oral sex and be beaten! I hated it. I returned it to the book store the next day!

The best book I have read is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. It's a gripping book full of tragedy, emotion and an element of humour.

The worst book is probably Hamlet. I don't dislike Shakespeare, in fact I enjoyed some of his books very much, but Hamlet drove me slightly mad. It goes round and round in circles, with Hamlet's obsession with revenge. The ending was pretty good though.

The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck is really good, it talks about super simple but profound and important aspects related to life and relationships. Its an easy read and very enjoyable.
