Probably clots, some people get them but others don't. As long as they are not very large they are nothing to worry about. If they are large then you should see a doctor about them.

Those are clogged blood that was push away from the body.
I could only say that those clog blood is terrible and it's not good and not normal because I had a very bad experience with it.

I had very bad period pain starting from age 15. I fainted 3 times because of the pain and admitted to the hospital once because of the same reason as well. The doctor (specialties) told me that to have a surgery to remove the clog blood. This idea freaked me out.

This is how I started to look for information on this problem. I approach to the Chinese Medicine for alternative solution. The doctor diagnose me and she explained to me. When we found out that there's clogged blood discharged out, it means that our body have more. However she make alot of explanation that I do not understand.

The first 2 months after consuming the medicine (herbs that needs to boil), the pain is even greater and the discharge of clogged blood is even much more. I continue to consume the medicine for another 4 - 5 months and the period pain and clogged blood is gone.

For your information, the last time I consume the chinese herbs is around the end of last year (06), I can't really remember when's the last time I consume that medicine. Now, I have no any uncomfortable or even fatique during or before the menstual.

Conclusion, those red jelly-like things is really bad.
Anyway, I don't understand why so many people says it's normal while I went to specialties doctor and chinese medication says it's bad.

Take care ya....

They are clots. You will find that with some periods you have them, and some you dont. They are normal as long as they arent the size of a nickle or larger. If they are, you need to be seen by a doctor the day you notice them. Also, if you have severe cramping with the clotting and it is not usual for you, again you need to see a doctor.

Hi,
I think almost every girl has some of the "red jelly-like things"
I asked this question before to my Ob/gyn. She told me it's the uterine lining (endometrium) that is shedding off. So the red jelly-like things are the tissue from the lining. They are normal.

Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining through the vagina as a bloody discharge. It is actually composed of cervical mucous, vaginal secretions, and tissue from the uterine lining.

They are fibroids and are generally harmless.... Clots of blood from the uterus lining being shed... However, if you are worried about them-it's best to get a pap smear from your gyno atleast once a year.. Just to be on the safe side.

a million. once you're having various clotting, that's good to to deliver it up on your mom or somebody you're delicate with. in spite of the undeniable fact that some clots are usual. 2. you at the instant are not putting the tampon some distance adequate into you. loosen up and type of objective at a effortless attitude in direction of your lower back. i myself like the o.b. variety of tampons. they have not got an applicator and it that certainly makes it greater convenient to insert (a minimum of for me). Plus, I by no potential have any leaks! Oh, and get the "unique" not the "professional convenience". i got here upon the "professional convenience" to be rather uncomfortable. in case you have your tampon in properly, you shouldn't have the potential to experience it. good good fortune!

They are blood clots shed from the uterine lining. Quite normal if they come in smaller size, like no larger than dime size and not too much. But if it comes more and more and in heavier amount, accompanied by heavy bleeding and severe cramps, go see your doctor. You might have fibroids or endometriosis.

They're clots that have built up. No need to worry, they're harmless. It's just a bunch of the menstrual blood clinging together.
