Spelling counts.
Jim Shellenback played for Pittsburgh 1966-67 and '69, Washington 1969-71, moved with the team to Texas 1972-74, and made one last short appearance with Minnesota in 1977.
Shellenback has 35 known cards, many of which are from his stints managing in the minors in the 1980s or from his time in the short-lived Senior League in Florida in 1990-91. What you want, though, are his cards from his major league career, which at the time only Topps produced, or its Canadian licensee, O-Pee-Chee (OPC). And there are five and three of him from that era. (OPC cards tend to be identical to Topps, except for the company logo and having some French text on the back. Completists like them.)
1967 Topps J.Shellenback / R.Willis #592
1969 Topps E.Jimenez / J.Shellenback #567
1970 Topps Jim Shellenback #389
1971 Topps Jim Shellenback #351
1974 Topps Jim Shellenback #657
1970 O-Pee-Chee Jim Shellenback #389
1971 O-Pee-Chee Jim Shellenback #351
1974 O-Pee-Chee Jim Shellenback #657
First-year or prospect players tended to be pictured two or four to a card, as witness the first two listed.
Print out this very short list and take it to your local card shop; they might be able to help. Realize though that Shellenback was no star player, and at this far remove in time he might not be easy to find. Not rare cards, merely have fallen into the niche market which few merchants serve, so mail order or eBay may end up being your most reliable approach.
