There's so many!

Potassium - nice reaction with water, bright purple fire and lots of hydrogen gas are formed.
Magnesium - Bright light when burned
Iodine - Sublimes into cool purple gas when heated a little bit
Mercury - Fun to play with
Carbon - The reason why I'm alive and the main component of sugar.
Sodium - Sodium Chloride is the GREATEST condiment

My favorite metal is mercury. It is fun to play with mercury to watch it form the drops that seem to attract each other like magnets. To be honest, I haven't played with mercury for about 8 years. For some strange reason all of my mercury supplies have been confiscated by the men in hazmat suits.

Probably "K" (Potassium) because its suppose to help prevent cramps. So for us athletes eating a banana about an hour and a half before working out or playing any sport is helpful.

Gold (Au) and Platinum (Pt) because they are so pretty.

I also like Sodium (Na) because it was really fun watching it react to water when our teacher would do a demonstration. Never forgot that.
