For eyebrows which is less painful..threading or waxing????

so im getting my eyebrows done for the first time. my mom said she'll let me do either..so i just need to decide which to do..threading or waxing? which one is less painful and looks good? i need people with experience too..pleasee be honest!! thanks!

oh i already tweeze the hair on my upper lip and between my brows so tweezing doesnt really hurt me cuz im used to it if that helps!

Waxing is less painful, and gets the smaller hairs better. I think it leaves a cleaner look. To me, the warm wax feels kinda good, and it's over in a couple of seconds. Unless you are a gorilla, waxing is not all that irritating. Just don't plan on doing it 5 minutes before your date.

Apply a pain reliever (gel or lotion) with lidocaine prior to getting waxed (anywhere). Also try taking a motrin or tylenol before. But nothing short of a local anesthetic is going to completely take the pain away. I don't know about other parts of the body as I've never gotten them waxed, but as for eyebrows- the more often you get them waxed, the less the process will hurt. Anyway, I think waxing is much better than plucking! I let someone else who knows what they're doing wax my brows.

Waxing hurts the first time. Threading also hurts and tears might roll down. I like threading cause the shape of your brow will last longer. With waxing, your hairs come out faster...

i prefer waxing to threading. I have very sensitive skin and the threading just made me break out like I had a rug burn all over the place. Waxing was far better and lasted longer. Most people will tell you that threading pulls the hair out. but in my own experience, it only cuts it at the surface and it grows back faster.

So my pick is waxing.

With waxing, hot wax is applied to the skin. So when they rip up the cloth to remove your hair, they also rip up the top layer of skin.
This hurts, and makes the area puffy for a while after.

With waxing, only hair is removed.So it is much less painful, and much better for your skin.

waxing is not that painful, only part that is painful is when it goes on the bottom half of your eyebrow but for the first time it might hurt but it only take like a couple of second and then your done, Beauty is pain.

i get waxed, it feels like a hard slap. I saw someone get threaded and it looks painful,I read that it feels like needle pricks.

waxing is better........threading takes too long. and your eyebrows will just grow back in a week. i heard threading is very painful.
