I am making my own wedding invites, place cards etc and am wondering where I can get gold lettering, preferably stickers) really cheaply as I'm on a budget (hence the making them myself!)

I was thinking stickers because I'm not particularly 'crafty' and I though it would be neater. And I'm less likely to ruin it.

You're after peel-offs then!
madaboutcards.com has a sale at the moment, so good prices for wedding peeloffs.
You could yahoo/google search for cheap wedding peel offs, you'll get loads of sites. Also a lot of craft shops sell them now too.
Also you could buy a rubber stamp and gold stamp pad and yes, you guessed, stamp the words!
Good luck

You can go to your local scrapbooking shop and get some nice stickers. They would help you coordinate your colors and layout as well.
Of course there are your local box stores, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnns and even some Grocery stores, Walmart!
What I would do to save even more cash, I would buy some letter rubber stamps and a gold ink pad. That way you can re-use the stamps and you won't have to buy a hundred packets of stickers and only use certain letters. Then you would have the stamps in the future.
Good Luck!

You could buy a rubber stamp with the word "wedding" and then gold embossing. It's really not difficult to do and gets better with practice. This would probably work out cheaper than stickers. It is possible also to get a stamp made for you with say your monogram on - but can't remember where I saw details of the company. A web search for "custom rubber stamps" should bring it up.

have you tried www.clevercut.co.uk . I use them regurlarly and find them good value. they do a range called "foiled again" in a wedding range which is pre-printed wedding words (like invitation, menu, etc) and pictures. They also do some really nice stamps and stickers for a cheap price.
HTH, and good luck on the wedding!

There are just some things you can't skimp on.If you have to buy parts, it always turns out cheaper to have it made. The printing house can always get the parts cheaper than you.
