Hi Chelsea! I think this is a very good question, so I give you a star!
If the Fireworks show is being simulcast on the radio with the accompanying music, you can hear the music better if you bring along your portable radio with earphones!
I always take food and something to drink. I bring a jacket, in case it is cool out. I wear insect repellant because it sucks to be bitten by mosquitos! A raincoat too in case of rain.
Bring your video camera because it is cool to watch the video later!
Best of all, bring LOTS of friends! Take lots of pictures!
I sure do hope you have a great time!

Don't just look forward to seeing the fireworks display. Do something else in the daytime and treat yourself to a holiday of celebration....
There are many concerts, plays, festivities that can be very enjoyable and share in the feeling of living in one of the greatest nations the world has ever known and as is written on the gravestone of the greatest singer America has ever produced, Frank Sinatra...
The Best is Yet to Come.
