I don't mean by record because I know that the Sox are 10.5 games better, but in your opinion who's a better team. and don't be biased if u are a sox or yank fan...i'm a boston fan.

I believe the Red Sox are the better overall team.
Sox/Yanks (1 to 10)
Pitching: 7(tri aces)/5(Clemens, the savior, has gone 1-2 in 3 starts)
Hitting: 8(awesome lineup)/ 9(forlack of better words: even awesomer lineup)
Entangibles:9(good coach,defense, bench, spirit)/6(struggling coach, bad defense, and booing your own team can't help the spirit)
Overall: Sox-24/Yanks-20

well I'm a Yankee fan the Yankees history and players over the years say there better than the red sox but this year it looks like the red sox but the Yankees are still a great team never under estimate the yankees

Red Sox...and I can't be;ieve averyones saying the Yankees...they're DEFINATLY being biased. The Red Sox are in first place...and the Yankees aren't...the Red Sox are better. Red Sox having pitching and great team chemistry. The Yankees have been so far ahead when it comes to spending...and now this year we almost caught up (still about 50 mill. behind) and look where it got us? so basiacally I do believe the Yanks have bought their World Series up until now...

The Red Sox are a much better team overall. The Yankees might have A-Rod (and his 28 hr's), but the pitching is still pretty bad and until they fix it, they won't be better than Boston.

Red Sox. But we have almost 3-4 months left. You saw what happened to the Red Sox last year (4 games ahead) and they ended up 12.5 game back. However, overall, the Red Sox are in pretty good shape.

im going with the red sox they have a better bullpen,starting rotation even though yanks have clemens, mussina, and petite. they are all old and wont carry them this season. bats wise its even when giambi is in the lineup when hes not a-rod matsui has to carry them but yeah sox better team. im a braves fan not a fan of neither
