The Lord of The Rings trilogy. All three were nominated for Best Picture, and the third one WON. Not to mention, it's tied for the most Oscars ever won by a movie. Case Closed.

My answer will be an odd one, but I would have to say the Samurai Trilogy with the late Toshiro Mifune in the role of Musashi Miyamoto, who historically wrote The Book Of Five Rings. It's well filmed, exciting and I happen to enjoy samurai films, and these I think are the best. A second would be original Star Wars trilogy and not the new one.
The Lord Of The Rings is good, but it drags badly in places. Hobbits are not exciting, though they'd probably make okay neighbors, lol!

Lord of the Rings is awesome. I can watch the whole trilogy in one sitting. To me, it never gets tiring and can watch it over and over again. Star Wars original trilogy came close(Episodes 4,5, and 6) and The Matrix. Also Scream, I have all of these but LOTR has to take the win in my opinion.
i dont count the Godfather cuz the third one sucked

I am torn between these trilogies: Once Upon A Time In China (Jet Li), Mad Max, Back to the Future and Austin Powers.

Personally, i've always enjoyed the Back To The Future movies, myself. All three of them, in fact. So much so, that i had to buy my friend's trilogy from him! LOL

Well if the Fantisic 4 was a trilogy I would vote that. Probably Spiderman and Shrek.
