You simply know it and you are so sure in it that it could not be anything else but it.
You feel bored of this person, do not want to date him/her...
But...if you have never been in love with this person, than it is unlikely to recognise if you've fallen out of love.

When you touch, and it doesn't spark anymore, when the sound of their breathing is annoying.. when you look at them and you are disgusted by them... when they tell you what would have been a funny joke or insight months ago and you think "are you really that stupid"? When they try to kiss or hug you and you cringe like they are something from the deep lagoon... When you realize that its been days since you've talked to eachother and you don't really mind...

But if you are in love;

You must speak to them everyday

You will give your life for that person

You have a good sex life

When you don't care for them in that way, if you don't have that burning feeling with them at all! And maybe if you think of them as a friend then that may be why?
