I think it's a tie between a few different artist from different generations, Tupac and Biggie, Talib Kweli and Mos Def , and Jay-Z and TI. Depends on what rap your talking about hustler music more so for those in a struggle J and TI, for more political you gotta go with Mos Def and Talib, and for a little bit of everything I give it to Tupac and Biggs

If we are talking about all the factors like impact and influence and skill then I say Rakim. But if we are talking about who I think has the most skills on the mic, even if they are an underground rapper, then I say One Be Lo.

Although rap isn't my favorite type of music, I do think that 2Pac had a lot of talent. He would be my pick for greatest rapper of all time.

If ur talking about an actually freestyling not my favorite but lil wayne papoose and like a lotta fast type type of rappers because its nuthin to freestyle and just go normal pace butto do it at fast pace takes time but if you mean rapper at bringing in money and to do it over and over agian are like diddy emeniem and i guesss gay little 50 cents i dont really like none of them to much but they know how to make money oh yeah hate em but Jay - z a really big swagger jacker but my personal favorite !ON THE BASIX ALL OF THE SOUTHERN RAPPERS CAUSE ITS HARD AS HELL TO GETTA DEAL AND BECOME KNOWN DOWN HERE BUT WE WILL RISE !

Greatest rapper, that's kind of a oxymoron. 99% of rappers are destined to be forgotten in 3 years. But that aside I'd say Tupac.

rakim and krs and mostly the others yall mention are emcees but lil wayne can rap but he had to get the carter 2 wrote for him and somebody to teach him how to rap to get where he is now.
