She has been here for almost six months and because of certain reasons I can not tell her to leave.

I had that happen to me from my SISTER. I had asked to stay with them while working at a job in their state, and they agreed. Never told me that there were time limits, I was enjoying being in contact with them and seeing them on a regular basis (i did go home to my state every week). She was short tempered and rude for a month before I was asked to leave, and left it up to her husband to do the dirty work and he was condescending and rude about it. It came as a total shock, as I thought we had been having some quality time together. Obviously our family isn't overly close or affectionate and I thought that she and I were actually being sisters. Needless to say, I was so hurt and humiliated that we no longer speak to each other (her choice, I have invited her to visit twice since then). My advice is to be tactful, and wait till the right time...my "family" gave me the good news right after I had worked a 12 hour night shift...so be kind. Give her plenty of time to find another option for a place to stay. She may be thinking she is bonding with you or in need of a place to actually live and is ashamed of not being able to find one. good luck

Forget the certain reasons and be truthful. Tell her to leave.

Forget hints just be straight with her tell her you don't want her there any more, just try being nice to her when you say it .(that's if you really care of hurting her feelings)

well tell ask her when she going back and when she is moving out.. if she doesn't get it politely tell her to leave
