I have a certain way of eating things as an example I have to eat the crust's of my sandwiches first. What odd habit have you got in that way.? Now come on we all have them.

I have to go down each supermarket isle in its entirety, even if I don't want anything in that isle. I can't cross into another isle half way down, that would just spoil the rest of the shopping experience and put me in a foul mood. I also can't back track. If I've forgotten something, I have to complete the shop, go through the checkout, part the trolley and then go back in.

Cant walk over 3 drains, have to have numbers (volume for stereo etc) on even numbers, hey this is strange but its something I have no control over:

Every time (or near enough) I look at the clock its double numbers i.e 12:12 pm or 21:21 pm or 14:14 etc etc,so now I`ve started to grab the person nearest to me at the time and show them - therefore proving it DOES keep happening and I`m NOT losing it....though this just scares the said witness into agreeing with me so it doesn`t really help...Why does this happen? Like 5 times a day on a bad day! what are the odds of that?
Also EVERY time I see 1 magpie bad luck follows - no joke.
I think to myself great I wonder what`s gonna happen now and sure enough something bad happens.
Once I saw a Black Cat AND a Magpie right next to each other - now that was a bad day.......Weird. Is that Obcessive compulsive? Ha, time now - 20:20 pm told ya!

On the t.v I will only use even numbers for the volume.

If I am walking along the landing and there is a door open I find it very hard to walk down the stairs without going back and shuting the door.

Before I eat a ham sandwich I have to look inside it and check there isn't any fat on it.

I am not O.C.D

Well, I wouldn't call it OCD. I like to eat the folded over chips before the regular flat ones. I will search through a whole bag to find them if I can. I don't feel that even compares to the OCD I had with my hair in high school. I hated the thought that it might be dirty and would wash it ANYWHERE if the urge came. "Sorry, I can't. I'm washing my hair" If I ever told you that it was the truth. lol

I have two switches on the same light fixture one for upstairs hall & the other for downstairs. I like them to be in the same position.
I also have to sit in my specific seat on my sofa & tell my friends this when they are at my house.
I am quite funny with curtains too. I will open/close them when I want them opened/closed.
And I also always have to sit on my sofa with a pillow on my lap!
I don't like looking in mirrors around midnight either.
I think i may also be slightly OCD too?
Oh yeah & I always shower in the same way, shampoo 1st, conditioner next & I leave it on whilst I wash my face, then my body, then I rinse the conditioner & get out of the bath, dry myself then clean my teeth! Phew!

Probably everybody has a certain amount of that sort of behaviour, but be careful you're not trivialising what can be a very distressing condition. I had a friend who washed her hands 40-50 times a day. It was so bad that her skin was often raw where she'd rubbed it and rubbed it and rubbed it.

my son is an OCD. Every morning he washes his hair at 7am, then gets some weetabix for breakfast. Goes back upstairs for a bath. Puts all his clothes on his bed. Dries his hair, comes downstairs for something else to eat, goes back up and gets dressed, straightens his hair, comes down, puts shoes on then goes to school. He is 14.

I am slightly OCD too!

LoL I usually eat the crust first too!

But gosh, I can't even name them all.

Let's see....

I'll name just a few

I HAVE to brush my teeth after a eat.
I have to chew gum after I brush my teeth.
When I'm playing a board or card game, I have to have the cards or pieces perfectly alligned.

I have a LOT more.
But I'm not EXTREMELY OCD, just slightly.

♥ xoxo

omg i do alot of things but the major ones would include
1) arrange my closet in rainbow colored order. you kno red orange yellow green blue indigo and violet. also the sleeves of my shirts go from longest to shortest.
2) arrange my shoes in order of appearal. dressy then sneaker then flip flops. and they are in color order too.
3) things have to be parallel. pictures on the wall have to be straight. i like corners but they have to be even.
4) pencils and pens and papers and stuff have to be neat and tidy and even. and everything that i do is in color order.
i dont think daily ruitines count such as bathing bc ppl just get in the habit of doing things a certain way. me tho my color obsession is a little over the top.
