yes every administration has manipulated and lied to us....that is because the democrats and republicans are 2 heads of the same system.....the ruling class which in this country is large enough that there is actually conflict within it to a certain extent, must do what it must to keep us thinking we are a good and free people. This is useful for while the ruling class covertly does what it can to secure control over vital areas with needed resources and/or markets, we can feel like we are misunderstood in the world when world or regional opinion is against us. The media is part of the military industrial complex and dependant on it as it moves with the will of the ruling class. Reagan lied because he knew people would not care about it. WE let him get away with it. Just like we let nixon get away with it, and kennedy tho he was actually betrayed by elements opposed to his views but were his own kind none the less. and so it goes......

Are we arrogant enough to think we know what every adminsitration, Truman, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Clinton and 2 Bush's does in this area? Sorry, but if anyone thinks we know all that is done for any security reason, and are told the full truth about what every administration does, they are naive.
