I was stationed at Tyndall AFB(on the east side of P.C.) in the 70's.We had a snow"storm" in January of '75 it measured .25(1/4th) of an inch.
FYI summer of 76 Gaylords department store had a snowmaker, like one from a ski resort, brought in and they blew in 6 inches of man made snow, yes it was a wet mush, but funny to see people in swimsuits playing in Man made snow.

I have lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1950 and yes it has snowed twice during that time.

The only one I remember the date for was January 1977.

So If it was cold enough to snow in Tampa it should have snowed in Panama Beach, Florida.

I used to live in Pensacola, Fla. and in my 20 years there it snowed an inch or so one time. It was in the evening...we woke the kids up, dressed them in everything we could find, put socks on their hands and took them out to play!
