There are shops around that only sell jigsaw puzzles,
I'm sure they would be able to help.

Hi:

here a answer I gave someone who ask the same question:

Any Verision of PrintMaster or PrintShop will make a jigsaw puzzle for you. Just go to the Craft Icon on the New project menu than Select the Fun For Kids in the Craft menu go to the bottom and select what type of puzzle you want. When the puzzle appears. Then find the Add box icon in the Menu icons box at the top ,than select Graphics which sub menu to the following selections ( Art Gallery , From Disk) chose which picture you want from one of those ( be sure your picture you want in your puzzle is saved somewhere on your computer) , Then print it on some cardstock or posterboad than cut it out or glue it on a wooden board than Jigsaw or bandsaw it ( but use a very small blade when doing it with a bandsaw ) and If you have a Jigsaw puzzle program { Yes, they do make them and can be pick up at any computer store for about ten to fifteen bucks} ( It's the type that will cut and scatter the piece around the screen and you find and assemble the pieces ) ,than see if it can import or load a picture then go from there. Also the check the following websites they might interest you :

My son has some of the same issues at 23 years old. He and the guys he spends his days with, like the Melissa & Doug puzzles. The themes are not childish, and the pieces are big. Most upscale toy stores and book stores sell the Melissa & Doug line. You can also find them on the internet.

here are 2 good sites. Put in Large pieces in the search, they are easier to manipulate, but no less complicated. they come in 250 to 1000 piece puzzles.
you might also try searching by number of pieces, i like doing 100 piece puzzles, just for fun, and they still can keep your interest.

This is my absolute fav. puzzle place. It is called bits and pieces.... http://www.bitsandpieces.com/ They have something there for everyone. If you go under type of puzzle and look at the large format pieces, those are the puzzles with the bigger pieces, complete with adult pictures.

Most good high streets have shops selling jigsaws. Woolworths, local toy shops, supermarkets and you should not forget your local charity shops for bargin jigsaws, often they have ones for elderly people.
