Her period is very light, and very irregular. Sometimes it doesn't come untill a month and a 1/2! Since it's so light , she can't wear tampons , and has to wear pads! Is this normal! Anybody else have it like this?????

i'm sure she is fine but the best thing to do is go and get her checked out at a ob/gyn, she is at the appropriate age for it now anyway. hope everything goes well!

If her period is irregular, maybe she should get checked out for PCOS. Irregular periods are usually a huge sign of PCOS. Other symptoms might be excess hair on the body and/or face... hair thinning.... having a hard time losing weight, etc.

personally, i know my cycle is extrememly heavy and so I can't use tampons either. my cycle has always been every 26 days, i can't remember it ever being different, but i know that some of my friends have really crazy wacked out periods. they just deal. an obgyn might help.

yes is normal periods are different but still try to go to a doctor for help take care bye

periods are all over the place but if it bothers both of you make an appointment with the doctor

It may be totally normal for her. We are all different and it changes with age anyway.
