Is this illegal?

For a nineteen year old to date a seventeen year old? I mean it's only two years, but it's over eighteen and stuff too.

No, it is not illegal in ANY state. However, in some states it is illegal for them to have sex. Just don't sleep with that person until they are 18.

It depends on the 19-year-old is a male or female.... If it is a male, make sure he not having sex with the 17-year-old girl until she is 18-year-old. If it is a female, hey, who cares. If the 17-year-old boy doesn't want to have sex with the 19-year-old female, probably he is gay.
