can anyone tell me if the everex laptops sold at walmart are any good?

The Everex machines I've seen for sale online have really good specs compared to other machines at that price. The reviews from users on NewEgg were generally favorable, the only knock against them was the short battery life.

I don't know which models Wal-Mart is carrying, but I suspect the reason they are inexpensive is because the Everex brand just isn't well-known in the USA.
