Does the clock speed of multicore processors similar to the ordinary processors?

The clock speed is roughly the same if not a little better. With multicore processors you have more processing power with less heat and less energy used. The higher processing power itself will makeup for any clock speed loss if there is any.

yea most c2ds have a clock speed of 2-2.4 ghz per core.
