I need a way to get my $500.00 from a sale I made. I don't want to use Western Union and this guy says he can't use paypal. He says he can direct deposit it but I don't want to give him my bank account #. I also want it to be an immediate transaction, Can anyone suggest something? Thanks!

i've heard of a lot of scams with money orders....Find out why he can't use Pay Pal? It's free and easy, I use it all the time. Or you can tell him to send a check or money order to your home and tell him you wont send item until it clears?

And why is it he can't use paypal? Sounds like maybe he's trying to scam you.
Can he mail you a money order? Even then, be very careful not to send the item until it clears. And just because your bank accepts it for deposit doesn't mean it has "cleared" - talk to your bank about this.

You could also go to a check cashing location and purchase an All Access Visa card and have him do the same thing (it will cost each of you 9.95) and then he can deposit the funds on his card and then transfer it to yours.

Money order. He makes it in the amt of 500 and you just claim it at the post office. Done!
