Do you know how to play Paper, Rock, Scissors?

That's crazy! However, I'm not really one to judge. When I was little, before I went to school, I used to play Rock, Paper Scissors with my brother on long car journeys . My brother however, added some additional rules to the game:
- Water - Waving your hand in the air. This can be changed to paper and you can claim you were "just getting into position".
- Fire - Interlocking both fingers. Again, my brother and I used to cheat with this one by clasping our hands quickly into a rock.
- Bomb - Clasping both hands together, pulling them apart and making a "boooom" noise. Bombs takes everything and a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors would quickly descend into just a game game of Bomb! (After awhile Bomb was banned from car journeys as it was noisy and annoying according to my parents).
However, on my first day of school I was challenged to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors - I'll never live down the shame of trying to use Bomb and then crying when I was told Bomb wasn't a real move!

Meh, my brain knows how (Paper covers rock, Rock breaks scissors, Scissors cut paper), but my hands were never any good at it. Really, something about having to throw out the hand gestures too just threw me off....I guess I'm clumsy, un-coordinated that way. ^_^

Or....maybe it was that I didn't do it a lot until a buddy got me started on Live Action Role Playing games (Mind's Eye Theater, which uses Rock-Paper-Scissors as a semi-random element). Problem with that one was, there were people there who had been *doing* this for years, and basically with them the R-P-S wasn't random, they knew every mind-game and dirty trick you could pull on the challenges. O_O Never mind that they *also* had the uber characters too, and didn't *need* it....

But I digress. Point is I've been owned so many times on Rock-Paper-Scissors that I don't even like it anymore. I won't even play because I choke too much and it's *not* fun to always lose. -_-

In short: I wish I *were* that guy who had never heard of it.

yes - i just taught some people in brazil how to play it. they said that they have always seen it in movies, but since they didn't know the rules - they think we're nuts.

now that they know the rules, they want to play all the time.
