i mean most of them start at around 7:00 to 7:45. why do they do that? i heard there's this thing that high schools should start before elementary/middle schools do but what's the point in that? most of the younger kids have more energy in the morning.

One the purposes of HS is to train you to be an adult.

Since most adults work, the theory is that HS can start at the same time as most adults do at work.

You might argue that some adults work at 10 AM, but most adults do not. Instead those that actually start at 10 AM are bankers, lawyers, etc.

Those people have had many years of college, and know how to get up early in the first place. Incidentally, many of those 10' clockers actually start very early in the morning, sometimes as early as 6:00 AM

If you want to know about me, I do not have set schedule, but I usually start my day between 5:00 and 6:00 AM due to extra work I do for myself - like writing a book.

All the schools cant start at once because the buses have to go around for one school each time. It is known that younger children take longer to get ready. It is also a great way to prepare us for a future when we have to get up early in the morning for are jobs. Although i think that its not fair because I'm a high school student my self. My school start at 8:00 which is sooo annoying, but next year i have a free period first so i get to come to school at 8:40.

To get you ready to handle 8 am classes in college.

Well that's one reason.

The other reason has to do with having only one set of school busses on the streets at a time and not making all six children from the same family all fighting over who gets to use the bathroom.

And it makes taking children to school and picking them up easier when the high schools, middle schools and elementary schools start at different times.

We had six high schools in my community and to save money on school busses half the schools started at about 7:30 am and the other half started at about 9:00 am, so that three sets of school busses could handle all six schools.

Also the early high school kids start school in the morning, the earlier they get off in the afternoon so that they can participate in sports or part time jobs.
