No, chewing gum can cause an intestinal blockage in dogs... Don't give the dog gum intentionally if the dog gets some (dogs are notorious for getting stuff out of the trash etc.) give the dog some peanut butter... Peanut Butter disolves gum... Also great for removing gum from hair and other washable items...

I was born in the 80s. Never in my life time was it safe to eat gum off the pavement.

Oh yes, I used to leap from a tower block on a Friday evening, hit the ground doing around four hundred miles an hour, pick myself up chewing on my tongue and be back on the roof again on Saturday looking for another spare blob.

Trouble was, it`s the same colour as doggy doo was back then,
