I think A-Rod will break the all-time home run record. If he stays healthy, it shouldn't be a problem for him. Thing is, are they going to question A-Rod, and put so much pressure on him like they are Bonds? Rumors have circulated around Texas that Rodriguez was taking steroids.

No I dont think he will be questioned as long as he doesnt mutate through out the rest of his career.(sammy sosa ,mark mcguire, barry bonds) they started their baseball careers in a jeter like image and now they are freaks of nature as far as size goes from past years.A-Rod is a talented individual as is bonds but bonds is almost at the end of his run but is and always has been a great contact hitter steriods or none at all.i believe A-rod has the potential to make people say mickey who babe who if he remains with the yankees and breaks all the records...its soo easy to hate the greatest player in the game (ex. Jeff Gordon,Kobe Bryant,Tiger Woods etc.) much easier to see them fail than to cheer them on into better things. so i say no Arod will have a clean record breaking and a even cleaner hall of fame induction.

Its not if he breaks the record its when he does. He already has 175 more home runs then bonds did at the age of 32 he is only 8 away from 500 there will be no questions when it happens cause A-Rod will be the greatest player to ever wear the uniform.

The problem with Bonds is all the evidence. His trainer friend is linked to distributing to other people and his girlfriend in Arizona ratted him out, not to mention the size difference in him between the younger and older Bonds, plus he did what no other player ever did in baseball and some how got better when he was 35 years old. If people step up with evidence for AROD then he will get it to. Barry took them, no doubt, but who cares because baseball is corrupt anyways and thats not why we watch. Apparently a lot of professional athletes were on the juice at soem point or another.

I think he will break the record. He might get questioned, but that far into the future who knows what kind of test they'll have for things, so maybe he won't be questioned. It's sad that anyone who's good now gets questioned, like Ryan Howard. That guy is the runt of his family, all his brothers are way bigger than him. Why is it so hard for people to accept that some people just have better genes?

there are always going to be haters and writers and they will always stir sh1t up and make up rumors and what not. bonds has yet to test positive for steroids. so if arod does approach the record, then im sure there will be steroid rumors especially if he is in a slump and especially since he plays in NY

If he maintains to be healthful and needs to play that long, confident. He has the expertise, it relatively is for confident. he's only 32 - if he hits 40 a year for the subsequent 8 years, he will exceed in spite of selection BB finishes with.

i can't see a-rod really delivering under pressure...i mean sure...he's great in the 9th inning....but in the post season??? he melts like butter....plus he probably isn't getting walked much because he's on a dangerous yankees team.....w/ great hitting around him...and if a-rod goes to another team (which may happen soon enough)...then he'll be easily intentionally walked plenty of times....and that'll only increase w/ time as he gets closer to the record....
