it is the age old stigma of being "poor" or of a "lower class"...
that's even how racism started... the color of one's skin showed if they had to work outside, or not...
people are so stupid.

They have such a bad rep because of movies and if you live in a trailer park you can't be making very much money so they probably don't have a job and if they don't have a job you have to wonder why.

There is a very long history of some crazy charachters living in trailer parks. Everytime there is a tornado it seems as if the craziest people are interviewed on television!

I think its just because there are such a large amount of people in a small area, If you rounded up that many people that live in houses you would have just as many shady people.

Because they're generally poorer people. Generally, people who are more successful and capable make more money and live elsewhere; hence a majority of the unsuccessful or unmotivated folks end up in trailer parks.

I live in the Seattle area, housing here has gone up so much
($400k average house price) - the 'trailer' parks here are nice - gated, nice yards, mainly inhabited by middle class families.

because of the few nasty people that just happen to live in them, you know one bad apple spoils the rest, the same reason a race gets a bad reputation for the actions of one person

i don't know. not everyone who lives there is a bad person but there is a lot of rif-raf in some of those places. the cops are in the trailer park my grandma lives in almost everyday. good luck.

its really a good question. everyone does have a bad reputation who live in trailer parks.i would guess because everyone thinks they are poor.

people in trailer parks are people from the high society consider them rednecks and hunters and basically bad people
