we had the Mound Builders here in the USA. there were many Temples and Mounds built here. such as the Serpent Mound in Ohio while there were numerous sites where Temples and Mounds were constructed in the Mid-West and Southern states. Cahokia was a huge City built in Illinois close to St. Louis which at was time was known as " Mound City " because of all the Mounds built in the area.

In In Mexico there were Temples and Pyramids which were built by the Aztec, Mayan, Inca tribes so there were plenty of Temples and Pyramids in North and South America.

Not the Egyptian style, no and not on a grand scale. There are records of step pyramids or ziggurat-style buildings in the literature and archeological records in india, and some are still standing. But no mention of Egyptian style pyramids.
