dude, ive been hearing the same thing lately.. what the heck is up with that? i thought birds only chirped during the day? i dont know whats going on. must be the end times or sumthin. that or im high.

Yes; it happens a lot here. It doesn't require much light, and the nights are short right now, so if there's any source of light, they will probably chirp as though it were early morning.

Yes! I have! I always wondered if other ppl noticed them too! (I am very into nature.) I always wonder about these birds that seem so happy & sing at night! (I'm a night person so I usually go out late every night just to listen to them--they fascinate me!)

Yeah we have a nesting pair of mockingbirds living in our bamboo. If I go outside to take out the trash they start making noise that can only be described as monkey sounds. It is very weird and creepy.

yeah there's 2 massive palm trees opposite where i work. if it isn't raining you can hear them, but they are deafening at sunset. they are all rainbow lorikeets.
