The bank I go to gives me perfect crisp bills which I hate! Reason being is that they are hard to count and hard to grasp. Is there a way of making them feel old, used, etc. quickly?

What we did in the restaurant business to prevent the bills from sticking together was to shake salt on them as you flip through them (like a deck of cards). This separates them and prevents sticking. If you just want them less crisp simply put them in you pant pocket and wash them. Good luck and God bless!

Fold each in a different location so they don't stack so neatly.
So fold some in 3rds some in 4ths some long ways and some cross ways then they will be easier to deal with, or put old bills between them.

I've done this a few times. No idea why...just did. But you can launder them (crumpled works best) and run them through the drier. You can dampen them and jump on them a bunch of times. Crumple and fold, crumple and fold, crumple and fold..........and if you launder them, it helps to get them dirty first, just a little mud maybe, and it also helps to use fabric softener, the liquid kind, plenty of it. An acquaintance ran some through his rock tumbler, and it worked.

Throw them in your clothes washer with a load of jeans. They hold up quite well and you can even toss em in the dryer.

Crumble them all up in your fist -- bonus if your hands are sweaty. :)
