you dont have a period when pregnant theres nothing to shed when your pregnant so you dont bleed. you will have cramps as your pregnancy progresses

You do not menstrate while you are pregnant. You might experience a little bleeding during the first few weeks, but you won't bleed.
And here's why:
When you're pregnant the lining of the uterus remains intact to support and nourish the growing fetus. You won't expel it because your body is using it. With regular menstration your uterus isn't housing a fertilized egg so you don't need the uteran lining--also called the endometrian lining, so your body expels it and you get your period.

Your not supposed to have a period during pregnancy. If you are bleeding or having cramps, talk to your doc.
