As his constituent--the man is a freakin idiot. He was elected to SERVE HIS CONSTITUENTS not himself. I write him often to express my concerns regarding upcoming legislation and he gives his standard --he doesn't listen--no discussions--this is my position......do you really like a 'stay the course' type? Feingold is. And further left than Hillary. The previous poster was right--he only gets reelected by the skin of his teeth because of the lunatics in Madison who vote for the swine. He has been positioning himself for a VP job for years--his time has come. I hope he is chosen as the VP candidate--then we will finally be rid of him--and the GOP will win by a landslide!

No, Bernie Sanders is also a Senator now. That's about all that work without corporate contributions. Send Bernie and Russ some money if you can. We need "instant runoff voting", "publically financed campaigns", and "verifiable paper trails = paper ballots options in all elections", to try to "regulate" this unregulated capitalistic empire.

As a voter in Feingold's district, I can say that this man is a joke. He will NEVER be elected president for the following reasons.
1. He is a jew, no jewish president EVER. (John Kerry is jewish, real last name is KOHN....jewish, changed it to KERRY, to sound Irish. Didn't work)
2. The city of madison and middleton elect him to office every 6 years. The outside (Conservative rural areas) don't like him at all. He has to fight for his life every 6 years.
3. He is DULL! Remember Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Walter Mondale? Yeah, D*U*L*L!
4. Nobody is going to vote for this lawyer liberal mouthpiece except other lock-step liberals, and there are not enough liberals in America to offset the Conservative votes for Prez.
Keep your hopes pinned on your yearly losers like the clintons, kennedy, Chris Dodd, Al Sharpton, John Kerry, Michael Moore, and that unfunny jerk from SNL, what's his face. Quite a steaming pile of talent you all have there! LOL~!

I'm right there with you - I've ALWAYS loved Russ, he's a fine, principaled man who is not afraid to vote against popular will. I wish the man would run for president, HE'S the type of politician we need to clean up the horrible mess of the past 6 years.
