You can go to start | run | type in cmd for a Dos prompt and then type ipconfig/all to give you all of your IP information. You can go to http://www.grc.com/default.htm to get the IP address the your ISP has given you plus lots of other helpful information

start>run>winipcfg
on the dropdown menu choose your ethernet adpater.

if you are using a router or a modemgateway, most probably you'll get a private ip address lik 192.168..... or 10.10.....
to get your isp assigned ip address, you can either do a ip passthrough on your modem or you can go to http://ipchicken.com hehehe..that would be easier.
