The last few answers you got are correct. I assume they all apply to IE 7.0. If you have an older release of IE you may have to look where the missing menu bar used to be. If you see an arrowhead click on it.

Right click a gray space on the address bar then select Menu Bar and it will come back.
I'm assuming you're using Internet Explorer 7. If it's below 7, I think it should say the same thing.

The answer above...you can't click tools menu if there IS NO tools menu...right click on the gray part that has the icons (on top of one of the icons) below your search bar and it will give you a list of things to check...click on menu bar and it will show up again.

if you are on full screen mode, hitting f11 may help.
if you are using or upgraded to IE 7, it usually wont be there, but the tools menu would be there so you can click on it.
hit Alt+F = opens file
hit Alt+E = opens edit
hit Alt+V = opens view
hit Alt+A = opens favorites
hit Alt+H = opens help
hit Alt+T = opens tools
it's not a permanent fix but you can try it so you can get those menus. Or you can downgrade to ie6 by uninstalling the ie7.

Since you don't see "View", you can't click it. Right click on the area with your icons and click "Menu Bar" from that.

No problem, just right click in the browser title bar, that's the little bar that you can still see, and then click "Restore".
