I think I do have an incisive and insightful mind, but somehow I seem to lack awareness as you define it.... perhaps due to my bloated ego which blocks me from taking the lucid lessons that life provides unfailingly all the time...... it may be a case of not being able to make use of the insights I do gain through the life experiences.

I am extremely intuitive. I have had a lot of practice because I am getting up there in years. It has become almost second nature, & I have learned to trust my instincts, question my feelings, & know the difference {& they are different}. But I am human & very far from perfect. At times I find I have fallen asleep & one more time the Spirit is hitting me over the head with a lead pipe in a attempt to get my attention. It seems the farther down the path I go, the further away the goal is. Oh great paradox!

Paying attention to what life is telling you is extremely significant to personal growth. In truth, I believe healthy maturity is being able to focus introspectively, and then not simply stay there. Then we must move forward with more awareness and understanding of those understood experiences, whether they have been positive or negative. I tend to believe that if we cannot learn from our mistakes, we often will go around the mountain again and again, and to some degree, establish a pattern of thinking or behavior that could cause us to stagnate. Indeed... I pay attention. Life is very important to me, so reading those signs are a part of my own personal growth and development.

I don't believe awareness is truth in action. Awareness is knowing and understanding what is going on around you whether it is truthful or not.
Sure I pay attention, close attention. That doesn't mean I am fully aware, only that I desire to be.

Awareness is just as misleading as any other phenomenon.
Self-awareness, however, is an internal process that distances anyone from the environment and people in the environment. As the trend of philosophy has been to gain awareness and self-awareness, philosophers tended to become solitary creatures.

Awareness is more than intutive. It is the bedrock of the mind. Without it, we lose our cognitive ability because we lack a frame of reference in which to evaluate our sensory inputs.

more "New Age" hocus pokus buzz words. your statement is not based on any truth in life, someone just put it togeter, to cause people to think they must know what they are talking about. typical NEw age quasi spiritualism. Life tells me nothing, life in me is living, but the term, life, as to mean by your usage, is a state of being in reference to one's self, I do not trust my actions to Intuitveness, it is continually fooled by it's enviroment and your emotions. this is all part of the "feel good" "get in touch with yourself, and therefor closer to a higher being mentality", Lame at best, and God neve condones it,. We are to put our trust only in him, in all matters, that means spiritual as well.
