He did. However he was rushed to find a bride when he wasn't ready or knew he loved Camilla and she would never have been approved. The man is a dingbat. He chose the right one but didn't appriciate what she brought to the table and just took her for granted. Hell...it's not hard to please a woman. Unfortunately he needed a momma.
