The answer is -7/5.
Use the Slope formula to determine this.
think of (x1, y1) & (x2, y2)
(3, -4) & (-7, 10)
m=y2-y1/x2-x1
m=10-(-4)/-7-3
m=14/-10
m=7/-5 or -7/5
Hope this helps!

Slope of line through ( a, b ) & ( c, d ) is
( b - d ) / ( a - c )
So, slope of line through ( 3, - 4 ) & ( - 7, 10 ) is
( -4 -10 ) / ( 3 + 7 ) = - 14 /10 = - 7 / 5

Slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
= (10 - - 4) / (-7 - 3) = (10 + 4) / -10 = -14/10 = -7/5

m = -4 - 10 / 3 - (-7) = -14 / 10 = -1.4
In general for points (a,b) and (c,d), m=b-d/a-c

ax + b= y
(3;4)
a*3 + b= 4
3a + b= 4
(-7;10)
a*(-7) + b= 10
-7a + b= 10
-7a + b=10
3a + b=4 ==> b=4-3a
substitute
-7a + 4 - 3a = 10
-10a = 10 - 4
-10a= 6
a= -6/10
b= 4 - 3a
b= 4 - (-6/10)
b= 4.6
-6/10x + 4.6= y
