I am 21. I am 5'6" and about 120 pounds. I go to the gym about 4 times a week and generally try to eat healthfully. It seems that no matter how much cardio I do or how many machines I use, I am unable to tone my thighs. What kinds of exercises can I do to get my thighs looking as good as the rest of my body? Are there any certain foods I should be eating? Are there any tips that can help me achieve these results most efficiently?

You could join a spinning class, this would be ideal to work for your quads & hamstrings, step exercising, running, bench presses for your legs & doing squats.

If you can't go horse riding which gives you incredibly toned and shapely inner thighs as you are constantly squeezing your legs around the horses girth, try putting some pillows between your legs and squeezing.

Outer thighs: lie on your side and raise upper leg and do presses in mid air - say 50 on each side - varying the height of the presses.

lunges! they suck but the work! (using 3 lb weights--or more if you can tolerate it) With you right leg first-- lunge foward, the to the right, then back and cross your leg back. Then do you left leg. do 12 of each lunge direction and do 4 sets on each leg-- it should help tone your legs. Also, opt for strength training instead of cardio. Use the leg machines and add weight to them.

We do this in kickboxing !
