Are you driving from the cabin to Buk's Bar-B-Q ?.......The directions below?

His place is about 80 miles of dirt road around the mountain from here. Better head out now.
Go back down the mountain to that fork in the road, take the other fork and go 50 miles up that road to the next fork. Pass that one up and go 10 more miles you will come to another fork. Take the right one and go 15 miles. You will see a small road on the right, take it straight to Buk's, about 5 miles.

Some of us are just hiking 6 miles around the mountain and packing snacks to eat on the way. We will be leaving in about 2 hours.

i'll hike the 6miles with you all granddad. why drive 80 when you have a secret shortcut that is only 6 miles away. i knew old buk was always just around the way from you, mike. everytime i mentioned it, you just smiled at me like i was a confused pup. pretty sly.

I think I'll make the hike with the rest of you, if that's o.k. I'll bring some trail mix to add to the snacks.
