my question being deleted will not change the fact that philadelphia is filled with loud mouths...and that it's annoying, disrespectful, and shows no class...and it will not change that living in this city, one has to deal with african americans who are loud...

i guess i'm the one that is creating that stereotype...maybe i'm just making this up and in fact, they are not loud a$$e$...

what is there to take offense of? the fact that one person points it out? it's not fiction?

does pointing out this as a problem make me a racist? the fact that it's everywhere you go in this city, makes me a racist? one is not able to point out one group without being labeled as a racist? what if i only wanted to point out how loud hispanics in philadelphia are and how those people have no class...would that make me a racist as well? even thou i'm hispanic?

go figure...

report this as well

Sometimes everyone wants to talk at once. This leads to an escalating volume in their voices. Also, I have noticed that when blacks become irritated, they raise their voice. It usually doesn't take much to set them off. Especially the girls and women.

Hispanics tend to get real quiet and sullen, then explode and are very dangerous because they are irrational at that point.

Caucasoids come in all variations. Some are loud and noisy some are quiet and sullen, but not as dangerous. Most of the time, you'll just get a fist upside the head.

Asians go silent and bide their time. Sooner or later, they'll get theirs. It is usually scaled to the offense and is very telling.

All these are generalities and do not apply in particular cases.

You are painting ALL of that one group with one brush. Do you know ALL the African Americans in Philadelphia? Have you heard each and every one of them???

No! Of course not! So, yes, hon, you are being racist. And if you said Hispanics ___________ (fill in the blank) or Italians___________ (fill in the blank), it would be the same.

People are individuals. Maybe, in your neighborhood, there are a group of African Americans who are loud.

Look at it another way... if you were going to call the police because of this noise violation in your neighborhood, would you ask them to talk to ALL the African Americans in Philadelphia? Or just to the group of people making the noise?

I have noticed that many different ethnics groups are a bit louder and more animated, when talking and sometimes when playing back and forth they look as though they are arguing.

Maybe it is due to their fun loving nature.

I also notice that that a certain ethnic group, are more quiet and reserved type of individuals.

A more business type of nature.

Then there are those who can be either or whatever fits the mood.

A more of whatever floats your boat type of nature :0)

I for one enjoy all the differences that individuals have, however depending on the situation, one should be careful of how far their voices can carry.

Everyone has their own undesirables in their class of ethnicity. You are not necessarily being racist as you are in being disrespectful for what you are calling them. You can voice your opinion about some one or some group of people without being disrespectful. You are just making yourself and your point look ridiculous. If you want to voice your opinion do it with some class, some education and back up your point without cussing or degrading someone else. Then maybe people would listen to you.

I had a problem with a black girl and her four friends in the mall. they were taking up and entire aisle in a small shop and I politely squeaked, Pardon me. the 1 girl spun around and started calling me white *****, and never interrupt a sista and her friends. They all chimed in and were yelling at me. another time at the mall this black guy was really staring at me when I walked by. His black girlfriend stood up and also was yelling at the top of her lungs calling me many horrible names. Her BF had to hold her back. I have many others but they were the worst.

yeah... you sound racist! i could point out SEVERAL things that annoy me about certain hispanics, but i'm not racist and i KNOW that it's not ALL hispanics that do these things, so i would never say anything about hispanics as a whole.

think before you speak and quit being so naive, little girl. grow up.

okay, you've released that.. feel better now?

why not use your energy to bring about a solution to that which you dislike?

focusing in on the issue only makes it more prominent in your existence.

why not align yourself with those who are creating positive
change in Philly?

form a class in etiquette at your church
