I have tried all diff birth controls but I get really bad cramps for them all. My dr. finally said to just use condoms. My 3 I have now, were planned. But my husband said a forth will be ok. He started to build the rest of the bedroom now. I guess you could say he wanted it:)

Sperm can "live" 48 to 72 hours. Your egg "lives" approximately 24 hours. However, even if your husband pulled out when he ejaculated, he still emits sperm during intercourse/sex. Thus, causing you to become pregnant. If you are not ready to have another baby, I suggest at least using spermacide or talk to your dr about a diaphram. Of course the pill and condom have better success rates. Worse case, you can talk to your dr on Monday and ask for the day-after pill.

Good luck

There is always the possibility. Even with the pull out, there is the chance that you can still become pregnant. There is always the chance of sperm even one small amount can get you pregnant. If you are not pregnant and am not sure if you want anymore children, then you should consider birth control. Or if you don't want to use birth control, you can get a fertility kit that tells when you are ovulating. These are fairly cheap and easy to use.

From experience with the pull out method - you don't have to be ovulating to get pregnant. I got pregnant once with the pull out method and once with an oops didn't pull out in time - and that time was just 2 days after my period and I WAS NOT ovulation at the time. I believe you can get pregnant at any time - So, since he didn't pull out all those times it is a high possibility that you got pregnant. If you didn't want a 4th kid - you should have been more careful!

the pull out method is about the least effective one. all you need is one sperm to swim upstream. it sounds like you are in your fertile time of month. and sperm can live in body about 5 days or so, seeing that you have 3 already chances are high to have more. you need to get on more effective birth control if you are not ready for more.

All 5 of my kids were conceived using the pull out method. Did not really want anymore but did nothing other than that to prevent it. I am glad they are here now. SO its possible!!

if you are about to ovulate then your cervical mucous is going to be preparing you and protecting your husbands sperm. sperm can live up to five days in the pre-ovulatory cervical mucous. so I is possible but don't worry until you've missed a period. If your absolutely positive you don't want more kids now talk to your dr about birth control.
