Shawshank Redemption and Escape from Alcatraz are really good. I thought the Green Mile was the best. Of course, Women in prison shower shots from Caged Heat are hot . But for talent I have to go with the Green Mile.

...being a fan of the more exploitive, 'grindhouse'-type flicks of the early '70's to early '80's, I would have to pick as a favorite, the 'holy grail' of exploitive, gritty & grimy prison-based film entitled "Chained Heat", from 1983, and starring Linda Blair, Sybil Danning, Tamara Dobson, Henry Silva, Stella Stevens and John Vernon.
...oh-so trashy women-in-prison cinema, at it's best!!!
