Why do ghost stay on earth rather than moving into the light?

Most of the answers from some of the participants are uneducated. But I believe that I can answer your question with sincerity. Ghosts are spirits or energy that is what is left from our physical bodies. We all have life forces including animals. When we die the life force, energy, spirit returns to the source from which it came, but sometimes it lingers because it does not realize it is no longer alive physically and continues to be in a place of familiarity. This can be caused by a sudden unexpected death or un finished business. Believe me there are such things as Ghosts, spirits. I have seen them and I have studied this matter. There are also truths to deathbed visions (a person who is dying can see loved ones who have passed on before them just before they die).

some ghosts have Unfinished business,some ghosts want to get something that belongs to them,some ghosts don't want anyone to take there house because they love it so they stay there forever and don't let anyone have a happy life there so they leave,some ghosts believe there is NO light and they just stay in the place they dead forever and forever,some ghosts want revenge,some ghosts don't even know there dead,some ghosts just don't want to leave there loved ones so they stay with them forever,some ghosts feel there haven't got to do everything they wanted to do in life,and some ghosts are to scared to go to there light,so simply they just can't rest in peace.

Their Spirit is Earth bound because they can't let go of Earthly existence.They are often sad because of their Mortal Death and come back to tell others their Tale of Woe.They usually have unfinished work on Earth so they come to complete their Destiny.They have to enlist the help of Earthly Physical bodies because theirs no longer exists.Their spirit is part of the light.It is The Light of the Universe .

If they died in commited suicide or murder by others...they cannot move into light..... because anger, hatred etc all these negative emotion is not allow to reborn.....but it is not their time to died too...so they stuck on earth!!!!
That's why ghosts haunting cases we hear a lot......some ghosts are contented to be ghosts....and and try all kinds of excuses to stay on earth....but mostly these are friendly one!!!!

The main reason is usually unfinished business...if something traumatic had happened (like murder or sudden death) and there is no closure or they don't realize that they are dead.

People that do not believe in ghosts yet believe in god need to re-evaluate their thinking....how can you say that ghosts do not exist but god does when you haven't seen either one? There are probably more books on ghost sightings then there are bibles.

I guess some are stuck. But I don't think there is necessarily a light, but maybe they can go back and forth. Like I think my grandpa is around me sometimes, but not all the time.

cause they hate light i saw on this show that this lady had ghosts in her basement and she put a huge light and they were gone!

Unfinished business. In some cases, unexpected death that they can't comprehend. Other times, they stay out of duty or love (or revenge) but the majority of them are simply lost and can't find their guide.
