I don't think a man ever stops being man..if he feels different & wants to be something else or more, so be it! let him be! No other human should be judge over another individual! Yet your question of when a man stops? Some women have more testosterone! it's scary! I'm scared more of women sometimes! The question still remains. Due respect 4 men Worldwide, a man stops being a man when he is certain of his decided sex, & declares, upfront that he choses to live her life as a woman...

Funny I see this question right after watching Doom (the film), where people become monsters after being bitten.

But back here in the real world, not even having a sex change operation makes a man something else.

The traditional roles that a man was expected to play no longer apply in today's world. Therefore a man's masculinity has no yardstick against which to be measured. A man is a man until he dies or until he in fact undergoes a sex change and becomes a women.
All else is merely insecurity.

A man needs to live with a set of principles and values - he needs to live by these in all that he does: not doing so diminishes what makes a real man.
Beware of extreme feminist ideology which undermines what makes a man a man.

Loss of control
If a person is too dogmatic and the man adheres to the discipline without thought and freedom of will they become conditioned into obeying the rules without objection

when he has a sex change lol. seriousely though
when he becomes a woman.
by that i mean, bitchy, catty, and some men do.

personally i judge a man to be a man by his being honorable, have high morals, and his values, and the way he stands by his beliefs. raises his children, even if hes not there. loves and respects others. older, family, etc. and stands tall.
when he loses any of the above, then he is no longer a man.

a man never stops becoming a man .. nothing .. except mabye gender changing operations, can stop masculinity..

there are myths such as .. if a guy gets beaten up he is not a man anymore .. or if a man cries.. these are just pointless ideas made up by tough guys who think they are 'hard' ie full of masculinity.. when really they are just insecure themselves.

It's mental. You are no longer a man when you no longer feel like one.

The cause of emasculation is a relative act to the individual. For some, it is the waning of sexual prowess. For others, it is the waning of strength. For still others, it is when they are no longer as attractive to a certain age group. There are a myriad of other reasons...

When your testosterone is low or none.
When sleeping around with females become a boring routine.
When you think that females reject you.
When another man who understands you as a man and you fall in love with him because of that understanding and he being the more dominant partner.
When you begin to wonder why females take the pain to decorate themselves and men do not do so and you wonder if you like to decorate yourself too.
