Right now, the condesation from my AC leads to a pipe on the side of my house. This drips into a bucket, which in turn drips onto the grass creating a swamp. What is the best method to get rid of this water so it doesn't lead to a soggy yard and risk damaging my foundation? Thanks.

I have a couple of suggestions.

1) If there is a floor drain near the indoor suction of your air conditioner. Connect a hose to the A-Coil drain and direct is to the floor drain
2) Connect a hose to the pipe on the exterior of the house and direct it to where you'd like it to drain.

Hope these help.

If you are concerned about the condensate, extend the pipe or drain to an area that won't affect your foundation. Some plumb the condensate to the home waste line.

The condensate should not affect your foundation, the home would have been built with the consideration of water from rain. An A/C in a humid area can produce up to 6 gallons of water per hour when running constantly.

You might try a very large potted plant under the condensate line, perhaps 10-20 gallon vessel with many flowering plants. They will absorb the water and give off the water as evaporation. Make sure the soil is very porous, and not compacted like clay. You will still get some overflow, but it will absorb and evaporate quite a bit.
